Hotel is what you'd expect from one of a large chain. Free shuttle service to station/airport/NEC/hotel is excellent. No real complaints but stay was marred by an accidental spillage of red wine in my room, the cleaning of which I was charged for, so be careful not to spill anything in your room if you stay there! more

Holiday inn - Birmingham airport, is a typically but above average airport hotel. 90% of the travellers/guests is naturally one-nighters, which cause a lot of "traffic". Just returned from 2 nights at this Hotel while visiting The Good Food Show at the NEC. Stayed 2 years ago and found that the bedrooms were some of the most comfortable I have every staying in.
