Supposed to be a family friendly hotel.. 1 double bed and a sofa bed with a 2inch thick mattress... which was useless, kept falling into the middle of the sofabed so not easy to sleep in it at all. Stayed here for two weeks on business with colleagues from Ireland and the UK. After we were served chicken that was still blood red inside and cold Steak and Kidney pies we never ate there again. Firstly the preferential rates I was apparently getting from the hotel turned out to be £10/day more than if I booked via the web. The hotel advised this is because I booked via the website which operates independently of the hotel. I didn't understand that rationale either.
