We stayed at the Campanile Hotel for three nights recently. We could not fault the hotel on value for money. The rooms were quite basic but were extremely clean with a good spacious shower. We had a small problem with the bed but once we brought it to the attention of the receptionist it was immediately rectified to our satisfaction.... more

Booked this hotel through booking.com for a weekend in August. £100 for 2 people for 2 nights. No breakfast included, but it didnt bother us because the tea and biscuits in the room kept us going until we got breakfast in the City Centre. The hotel: very good location to city centre - took us 20 mins max to walk... more

We spent a week in Scotland, and this hotel was the least impressive- maybe I should blame that more on Glasgow than the hotel- The area where the hotel is was dirty and there was nothing to do or see close by... Our room was OK, and the staff was OK- not overly enthusiastic about helping us with directions or... more

this hotel has free parking and very close to the clyde and the secc. The staff are very welcoming, the hotel has a feel of an upgraded travelodge, the rooms are new and functional. The bar is OK, best avoid the food and eat elsewhere, other than that good value and central more

I have stayed in and used many hotels in the Campanile chain for business/conference purposes and this is by far the best. The conference facilities are modern, well maintained and the delegate food is excellent for such a cheap rate. The bedrooms are comfortable and relatively spacious. The restaurant and staff service is excellent. It is yards from the SECC... more

Staying in Glasgow for two days to see Journey at the S.E.C.C. (which is right next door) & Bon Jovi at Hampden Park. We booked mainly for the price & the fact it had free parking. Had never driven in Glasgow before but the hotel is dead simple to get to. Really comfortable bed, great shower, clean & quiet with a nice... more

Great location for SECC. 4/5 mins taxi for city centre. Stayed here for the Lisa Minnelli concert on Fri 6th June 2008 - 2 minute walk. Rooms were adequite for a sleep over, no bath in ours, just a shower to save a little space. Not a great picture on the tv, but we weren't in long enough to worry... more

We stayed in this hotel for one night in May whilst attending a concert at the SECC and I must say I can’t find fault with it whatsoever. The rate we paid was brilliant (£58 for a non smoking twin room) and the room was very clean, had tea/coffee/biscuits etc, satellite TV and a massive shower which was lovely and... more

Very good location with fantastic oriental restraunt on the doorstep (100yrds). easy car parking. Clean and comfortable room if on the small side. Bar was good and efficient but why only lager (no draught beer). Restraunt expensive for choice (£11.95 for a burger). Room was very cold with only a noisy battered fan heater for warmth. We complained to reception... more

I stayed in this hotel with my 2 friends as we were attending 2 concerts at the SECC during our stay. We picked the hotel for its distance to the SECC, but upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised. It was even closer then we'd imagined! So big + there! Plus because it was so nearby we had plenty of public... more
