My two sisters and I stayed at the Killarney Avenue Hotel for one night in June. We were passing through Killarney before flying out of Ireland, and showed up to the hotel without a reservation. They were very welcoming and helpful, and were able to give us a triple for the night. Compared to other hotels, this was the most... more

i just picked this hotel as its very central and i wasnt disappointed.i would highly recommend it ,the service and food was excellent.the only thing was there was a wedding and few other functions going on the night we ate there and we were rushed a little. however we did get an apology and were looked after and the food... more

We spend three nights here and were quite comfortable, except for the thin walls. Great beds, great bathrooms, best breakfast in the morning. Liam O'Connor show in the hotel is good fun. Movie theatre next door. 4 Star Pizza next door. Jaunting Carts across the street. Did I mention how handy this hotel was? Computer use in the lobby was... more

Our coach tour Shearings was originally booked into the Killarney Towers but due to refurbishment our hotel was changed to Killarney Avenue, The staff are friendly and nothing is too much bother. The food is outstanding, plenty of choice and hudge portions. Rooms are average, jacuzzi in bathroom, location right in the heart of the town, easy to get around,... more

My wife and I recently spent three days in the Killarney Avenue. Living in Cork, which is just 80 kilometres from Killarney, we have spent a lot of time in the various hotels in the area and we would rate the 'Avenue' as one of the best we have stayed in. In particular the food is just wonderful. The rooms... more

I recently got married in ireland in September 2007 and had the wedding reception at the Killarney Avenue. We had looked at some of the more contemporary hotels but decided on the Killarney Avenue. From the start the staff were amazing. They accomodated all of our requests and although organising the wedding from the UK they were always available on... more

My tour group was booked into the Killarney Avenue Hotel at the last minute. We were originally scheduled to be in the Dromhall Hotel, which didn't please me. This hotel is new, but is decorated with architectural elements from old properties, so it has the carved dark woodwork, the fireplace, the built-in bars, and other features that make it appear... more

Hotel was in a great area. Walk to shop dine etc. Decor was pleasing of the pulic areas. Staff was pleasent. Room a tad small but was only there to sleep anyway. Food was good, nice bar. Had no complaints. more

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. My husband and I stayed for a midweek break and really loved the warm and comfortable feel of the hotel. It combines friendly customer service with a high standard of facilities and perfect for all weathers as it houses an intimate bar and features evening performances from a musician who mixes traditional... more

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel after reading the positive reviews on this site. We were very disappointed by our experience. The service was terrible. For example, the receptionist that greeted us was arrogant, condescending, and acted as if we were interrupting something important and had no right to be there. It wasn't just us -... more
