This hotel was located about 25minutes walk into town, which in winter got a little cold and tedious if staying for longer than 2 days... However was close to EU buildings and a nice park with a small free zoo! Hotel could not be faulted, breakfast was excellent. Mostly business travellers seemed to be staying there. Free broadband was offered... more
I spent a few days in Residence Jean-Sebastien Bach when I was in Strasbourg on business. The hotel was in a nice neighborhood, although it was not in the center of town. It is close to the European institutions and right next to the Orangerie park. It was very nice to walk around the park after a day's work and... more
We stayed at this residence for the Easter break with our daugther. We booked through the internet (hrs.de) and got a very competitive rate. When we checked-in, we were upgraded to an apartment with a living-room and a separate bedroom. Toilet and bathroom were also separate. The residence is near the Council of Europe in a very nice residential area... more

Rooms are reasonably sized studios, with a... more

My husband and I stayed at Le Jean Sebastien Bach Hotel May 24-26, 2005. Our European friends researched and booked this hotel. I am glad they did! Although it was quite a hike to downtown Strasbourg, the room and terrace made up for the long walk and rail ride. Our friends booked the large apartements, the second highest class of... more
This hotel has great accomodations for the business traveler and large families. We are family of four (couple with 16 year old & 2 year old). In our room, we had a kitchenette with all utensils, expensive snacks, a HUGE bathroom and separate toilet, a balcony with terrace furniture. One dbl bed was located in a separate bedroom, while the... more
