A bit Fawltey Towers in my mind, the decor is 1970s first time around and looked very shabby, the room was soaciouis but the batheroom up a flight of stairs. A very nice hotel. A converted monastery I think. The hotel is ok with a fridge mini bar, great for keeping your drinks cool for the next day. We used this hotel for a change from our usual route to Spain. The main feature is the restaurant. The hotel has 3 Michelin stars I think because of the food. We... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on our way to and returning from Spain in April this year - 2007.We found the hotel impressive and the staff delightful.The food and vine at dinner were second to none. If you stay here I feel sure you will not be disappointed DC more
