arrived on a late notice business trip at 2.30am and was surprised by the easy good humour of the night staff, even when I immediately lost my room key. Very disappointed with Troyes. We arrived on a Sunday when most places were closed, including restaurants. However we managed to find one available restaurant which was packed out. good size room, no view.good position,easy walk to centre. quiet.BUTair conditioning did not work properly. I complained, and they sent the cleaner, who tried to tell me that it would improve. it did not, just blew out air which was not cooled.As I booked the hotel because it had a/c, I was disappointed. more

Convenient hotel only 10 or so minutes walk from the centre of Troyes. The town is quite pretty with lots of medieval buildings.Our room was large and very comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and particularly helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it is good value for the money. more

This is a great hotel for a stopover. Modern, clean and spacious. Even dare I say it a little luxurious... The hotel is a few blocks away from the centre of town but all the more accessible by car because of that. We stayed in a junior suite which was excellent value at 120 Euro. This is a very good hotel Good sized rooms- ours had a balcony Quiet street near to centre Good breakfast.... even had boiled eggs and toast! Nice decor Underground parking... you can park outside for free but it was very busy during the day and we had to go underground. Troyes is difficult to drive round ..beware! more

I have stayed 3 times at the Mercure Troyes and my comments would be the same each time : good location, efficient check in and chech out, rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated. Accorhotels.com offer excellent rates (70€ a night). Will definitely stay there again. more
