At first we were impressed by the location (quiet avenue, walking distance from the Eiffel Tower) and the fact that the rooms had been recently renovated and everything was super clean. But later the true quality of this hotel was revealed. First, the air conditioning was not working properly, so the 2 rooms we had were a hot as a... more

I was really impressed with the reviews and recommendations for this hotel so quickly put it in my top 3 to look into. I was after a balcony and view so decided to contact the hotel directly to make an enquiry. I explained very clearly that we require a room with balcony and view and were wanting this confirmed before... more

Dear Madam, I'm really surprised about your comment. First of all, Trip advisor is a site where people write down their impression after a stay in a hotel. Obviously, you have never been at the hotel Duquesne Eiffel so I don't think your comment is really fair. Second of all, I understand you can be upset but I think there...

On arrival at the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel I was welcomed with information that my room booked double booked. The Duquesne Eiffel had arranged another hotel in the area to take us, the Hotel Splendid, which was OK but not my hotel of choice. The option of staying one night, at the Splendid, and the remainder back at the Duquesne Eiffel... more

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, I really understand that you were upset and I apologize for the inconvenience. However, mistakes happen and I'm afraid we made one. I remember your case because Estelle, which was at the front desk when you arrived called me to explain the situation. That's true, Lucie, the other receptionist, didn't enter correctly your reservation but we...

My fiance and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights from the 18th April in an inside double room. We had high expectations based on the other reviews, and I'm glad to say we were in no way disappointed. Professional, attentive and friendly staff in reception who are a credit to the hotel. Room was immaculate, modern and although... more

My daughter and I spent three nights in Paris and decided on the Duquesne Eiffel based on the reviews that I read on Trip Advisor. We were able to take the RER/Metro from CDG airport to the Ecole Militaire metro station in about an hour. There are quite a few restaurants, shops and sidewalk cafes within walking distance of the... more

Hello, I'm glad you enjoyed your trip among us. However, I don't advise to take the RER/Metro from the airport, It is a long distance and it is not that easy especially if you have many suitcases. I would rather book a shuttle through us or maybe take the Air France/Roissy bus. I am happy you liked the new decoration....

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Duquesne during our stay in Paris. We originally booked our stay there because of the reviews we read on tripadvisor.com and because it was so close to the sites in the Invalides area. The hotel was very clean and all of the front desk were extremely polite and helpful. The floor our... more

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thank you for your kind note. I'm sorry that when you came, the hotel wasn't entirely refurbished, hopefully it didn't bother you. By now, all the rooms have been redecorated and we only have to refurbish the lobby. I'm glad you could have a view, most of our clients wish a view but even if we...

This hotel is very well situated for all central attractions, especially the Eiffell Tower, which we had great views of from Room 54. The rooms are quite small, but well equipped and very clean and well maintained. We had a balcony that ran the length of the room, with two large patio doors, which gave plenty of light. The bathroom... more

As a first time visitor in Paris there are many hotels in different areas to choose from. Tripadvisor proved to be invaluable and we booked the Duquesne for 4 nights after reading all the rewievs. First the location: The hotel is located near the "Ecole Militaire" Metro station with lots of stores and restaurants within a short distance (5min from... more

Dear client, The 7th district is one of the most expensive area in Paris. I could say it is a "posh area" if you can understand what I mean. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay among us and I really hope to see you again. Regards Julie Palisse

After reading all the wonderful reviews about the Hotel, I contacted them directly and reserved a room with out any problem at all. We arrived in Paris at 10am on the very first day of our Honeymoon, and because I work for a large Hotel Group in San Francisco, I expected to hear the usual 'your room will be ready... more

Dear Honeymooners, First, thank you to have made your booking directly with us. I advise people to contact us directly with us, especially in case of uncommon requests. Then, I don't think you told me you work for a hotel group in San Francisco, I love this city and I would have loved to talk with you. Check in time...

Without doubt, this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in while visiting Paris. The whole hotel has been refurbished and the rooms are fresh, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The staff are always cheerful and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. Although breakfasts can be obtained more cheaply nearby, the buffet provided by the Duquesne is excellent value,... more
