Excellent location next to the Cathedral in Frankfurt's downtown & only 2 blocks from river & main square. We paid Euro 120/night for a small suite with sitting room + bedroom; some rooms have balconies. Very good restaurant next door: Paulander which specializes in Bavarian food & beer more

The hotel is, as its name promises, right next to the Cathedral where once the German emperors were crowned. My single room was tiny (wouldn't have had room for more than a single bed), but this is quite common in Germany. The hotel has an excellent location in center of the city, next to the Dome Church. We stayed in the hotel in December 2004 and it was a good place to visit the Christmas market, the center of the Römer Christmas market is just on the other side of the Dome Church.
