ThIs was a good hotel and it will be very good, but in September 2007 it is half way though a major refurbishment. There is plenty of building site noise (e.g. grinding, construction workers shouting) during the day. There was no warning about this when we booked which I think is unacceptable. more

Like all of Spain's paradors, this one is beautiful with large,immaculate rooms, comfortable balconies, spacious grounds, and many amenities. Right on the Mediterranean, it provides beach access and spectacular views. While completely correct, service is so formal that at times one feels unwelcome. more

Stay of 4 nights Nov 2004. Really good place to chill out in spacious grounds (golf course) running down to the sea. I have stayed before and probably will return some time. Although down as Malaga this hotel is much closer to Torremolinos. We found this an excellent base for 4 nights of relaxation following a quick tour of Cordoba, Seville and Granada.
