went to the principe 2 years ago on a thomson late deal and we loved it, this time we booked through first choice, i had heard that there had been some renovation work going on and was very impressed, the new pool area at the back is fantastic, we didnt use it because we are a couple without kids and... more

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in august. Although there were a TON of families here, we did not feel we were in Kiddie city. The hotel staff was one of the friendliest we've encountered on European vacations. Every member of the staff went out of their way to accomodate us. When we had problems with our... more

We have been to 3 Sol Hotels ( flintstones) in the last year and this one is the biggest by far. The food is fine and there would be always something to eat even for the pickiest of people. However, the drinks are very expensive. I found the new pool area beautiful but the area surrounding the pool for the... more

Why people find cause to complain with everything gets to me. To find fault with this hotel you would want to be the fussiest person in the world. Absolutely fantastic is all I can say, we stayed half board, the food was out of this world, buffet for breakfast and for dinner the choice was amazing, something for everyone you... more

My wife and I stayed in the hotel on a half-board basis for two weeks in August. Half-board entitled us to breakfast plus either lunch or dinner (but not both). Food is of the self-serve buffet variety and there is a very good choice. We took breakfast every day and lunch or dinner about half a dozen times. For us,... more

We stayed at the hotel Principe Sol for one week in June - the staff at reception is very helpful and friendly; we found our room a bit small specially with our son's bed in the room, but we had big wardrobes where we put away all of our clothes. Yes, it's true, air- con is turned off during the... more

I have been going to the Principe / Principito for 13 years. I was dissapointed this year because the renovations were not finished so there were no activities for adults except darts for 1 hour. I think there is too much water with the new lagoon style pool and not enough room for sunbathers. it wasn't too much of a... more

Just come back from our first visit from this hotel. The hotel consists of 3 blocks that are part of the hotel and 3 blocks that are the Sol Principito apartments, which are situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of Torremolinos. All of the hotel from the pool area to the hotel rooms and corridors were spotless. We... more
