I stayed with my dad and 11 year old niece for a few nights and days. The location is really nice. It is not a far walk to the centre and most of the sites of Rome. But the hotel is out just far enough that the nights are quiet and peaceful. We took a cab from the train station... more
Villa Laetitia is a very nice, small hotel in a residential area of Rome. It was very clean and quiet, and we had no complaints. Would be a good choice if you want somewhere quiet and do not mind walking, but if you're looking to be in the heart of Rome's touristy/site-seeing district, look elsewhere. We might stay closer to... more
We spent 5 nights at the Villa Laetitia, in the Bamboo Room which is on the ground floor just behind reception. The room is lovely with a very comfortable bed, a small kitchen area. My only negative comment would be that the shower cubicle was quite small. The reception staff who spoke excellent English were very helpful. If you get... more
My wife & I traveled to Italy for our one year anniversary. Rome was our last stop and I happened to find out about Villa Laetitia when browsing a travel magazine. I almost passed by the write up it was so small. Well, I must agree with the magazine that it was a wonderful, small, secret of a hotel. We... more
Villa Laetitia is a wonderful hotel that is about 1mi. NE of the Vatican right on the Tiber. The location is perfect - about 5-10min. walk to either the Lepanto Metro station or the Piazza del Popolo/Flaminio Metro station. Since you are slightly away from the city, the noise level is very low - you are staying in a real... more
My girldfriend and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Villa Laetitia and it was a great experience, quite a tribute since I wasn't in a good mood cos the cab driver from the airport conned me out of 50 euros!!!. The room was very unusual in its decor and made a nice change from standard... more
We picked the Laetitia after looking at reviews for dozens of hotels in Rome. We were not disappointed. The location was fine.. a little out of the main centres, but (for us, keen walkers) only about 20 minutes from the Spanish Steps, the same to the Vatican and only 10 minutes from the nearest Metro (Lepanto, red line A ).... more
We had a fabulous stay at Villa Laetitia! The rooms are beautiful...the decor, tiles, heated bathroom floor, bed linens, kitchen, flat screen TV (with loads of satellite channels), and many more amenities....all first class! We especially loved our suite with kitchen & private terrace. Francesco, Wolf, and Eva were all wonderful, and accommodated all of our needs. There are some... more
The Villa was a fabulous place to stay on our honeymoon. It was so lovely and quiet and away from all the noise of Rome. The hotel staff was absolutely great and friendly. I will be recommending Villa Laetitia to anyone that visits Rome. more
