This is a great corporate hotel. Directly across from the train station. Rooms were large with great bathrooms. Great value. We used Bologna as a base and traveled by train to other locations. No bellman was there to assist us with our luggage. Front desk had only one person most of the time we were there. It was over Easter... more

Just had two night at this hotel. I've been to Bologna before and since I didn't have a car this time, decided to book a hotel near the station as there is an airport bus there which runs every 15 minutes. Starhotel Excelsior was a very comfortable place to stay in Bologna. It was conveniently located across the street from the train station. We arrived early afternoon and our room was ready.
