We finished our Italian Honeymoon staying at Arpaiu. We stayed in the studio which was great! Living area, kitchenette, bathroom (which was beautiful!)... The view is unbelievable & we booked directly with them via their website. Great with communication & when we arrived they were waiting for us with the key at the door! Would highly recommend as a clean,... more

This was a great place especially for such a reasonable price! Each room has a view and it really was breathtaking. Manarola is definitely a small, quiet town but we loved it. We did the hike between the towns one day and it was great to visit the other bustling towns. But we much preferred the simple town of Manarola... more

We made the mistake of only staying for two nights. The view from the room is phenomenal. If you've never stayed in Cinque Terra, this is THE way to experience it for the first time!! Everything we needed was there, everything was clean and ready to use. The Capellinis were extremely accommodating and friendly. I can't wait to go back! more

My husband and I ended our two week trip to Europe here and we loved staying in one of the quieter towns in Cinque Terre. Arpaiu had amazing views and we enjoyed having a dinner of breads, meat, cheeses & wine on the (shared) balcony. Luckily there was only one evening when another guest shared the balcony with us. It... more

Clean, comfortable & quiet. Reasonbly priced and it had a fantastic view of the ocean. If I go back I will stay there again. more

My husband and I have just returned from our Italian holiday. Arpaiu was lovely, unbelievable views. A very neat and tidy, newly decorated hotel. We were met by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. Its a bit of a struggle reaching the hotel as its all uphill. With less luggage it would be easier. Our room was the... more

We stayed for two nights during the peak season of August and wished we could stay longer. We had a hire car which we parked at the carpark up on the hill, and walked down to our accomodation. The room we booked was Aargon which was clean and tidy and had a fridge with water supplied by the owners. The... more

Had to write and say what a lovely place to stay. We found Manorola itself to be the nicest village on the five in Conque terre - much less tourity than Vernazza and very beautiful. once the day visitors leave just four restauatnrts to choose form and all of them were good quality and not taking advantage of the sitting... more

Sometimes the idea and reality don't match, which is the case with Arpaiu and Manarola, in my opinion. Perhaps it was because I had just come from the most perfect city and place to stay in Italy (Al Quadrifoglio in Verona). Or maybe it was because Cinque Terre is way too busy. Or maybe it was just bad timing. Whatever... more

My partner and I stayed at Arpaiu for two nights in July '07 in the Mia room. I contacted Oriana directly to book the room and she met us there as we arrived. I think she actually lives in La Spezia; the place didn't seem to be constantly manned, which we really liked. It's very homely. Arpaiu is right on... more
