We found this apartment to be unpretentious (so not for the "have to be pampered" crowd), a real experience in what it must be like to live in Venice. It is about a 20 min. walk from Piazza San Marco, and close to the Giardini vaporetto stop. The deck seems to be the only one on that canal, so your... more

We found the Vaniglia apartments by chance, but what a find. The Green apartment is located in the Castello area of Venice and is nicely fitted out in "Venetian Style". Best of all is the outdoor terrace right on a quiet canal, just perfect for morning coffee or a few wines to sooth the stresses of a day fighting tour... more
