The hotel is relatively close to the transport hub but some distance on foot from Venice attractions. This in itself is not a major problem as a 24hr or longer vaporette pass is the best way to get around. The staff is the keyword there, they are very helpful, cheerful and good english speakers. They offer help even if we didn't ask for. Having visited Venice many times over the last 20 years I never imagined that I would want to stay in a hotel near the railroad station.
