A great location, beside the road from train station and walking distances from Florence tourist attractions. The hotel is old little neglected and the rooms are small. The price is excellent but you get what you pay. more

On arrival at the hotel we were told that we'd been upgraded, and directed to the newly renovated part of the hotel called the "City Residence". We'd booked a luxury junior suite with jacuzzi. The new part of the hotel has a very tasteful entrance lobby, and we were directed to a room on the first floor. The room was... more

I stayed at this hotel in Sept '07 and have to say for me the location was fantastic. It's right across from the train station and pretty centrally located for the tour buses, and most attractions. The staff were very helpful and my room was very clean. The hotel has a very nice breakfast with lots of choices and is... more

After reading so many mixed reviews about this hotel with such comments about noise, burglary and unhelpful staff. I was naturally concerened. But as I had already booked the holiday, there was no going back so we were prepared for the worse! After arriving at Pisa airport, getting into Florence was very straight forward. You arrive at Florence train station... more

This hotel was part of a last-minute flight-and-hotel deal my friend found... so I only paid a little for a four-star, which was quite good. I was able to have a double room to myself. The balcony overlooked the train station and had a nice view in the morning. The bathroom was spectacular: new, large, clean, and well-stocked. The location... more

The hotel is much older than the pictures on their website. Our room is facing to a construction site. The worst thing is that the construction site started to have someone hammering at 8 or 9am so I had to wake up by 8 or 9 am. The sound insulation was not good. The only thing that i like is... more

If you're looking for a clean, decent-priced hotel near the train station, this is it. My room was spacious and updated (see bathroom pictures), but it faced the street and train station and was quite noisy some nights. The bell tower rings at the nearby Santa Maria Novella too, which woke me up as well. Rooms that face the back... more

Hotel is opposite main railway station & easy to find (leave railway station, turn right (towards bus station) & it's opposite. Checking in was easy with good English spoken. Great city advice given, free city maps, tour brochure etc. Tip: I recommend the tour company promoted by the hotel, CAF Tour & Travel but the hotel will take only cash... more

GREAT LOCATION, IF YOU DON'T MIND THE BUGS! ALSO BE VERY CAREFUL if you do decide to stay here... We had a very STRANGE incident occur during our stay at this hotel, which combined with the bed bug bites was enough for us to never want to stay at this hotel again. On the last day of our stay, a... more
