We stayed at the Garden Hotel during Palio from June 30 until July 12, 2008 and enjoyed it very much, Our room (Superior Deluxe) was spacious and the bed was comfortable. This is definitely NOT a 4* hotel. Rooms need completely redecorating and updating. Bar area too small for the amount of people in the hotel. Swimming pool was closed, because they don't fill it up till May - we were not made aware of this on booking. No entertainment during the evenings, again, we were not made aware of this.... more

This hotel was outstanding---although the rooms were small (typical of European hotels), they were very clean and very adequate.
