It was so bad, that I made a dash back to the train station to meet someone in the visitor's office to book a different hotel ...what did the representative tell me? What a dive, too much to say about this place. May I start with saying, no parking. I had to pay 40 dollars a night a half mile away to park. The rooms were a good size, no amenities. The bathrooms were shared and mold like you would not believe. Shower doors would not close all the way as well.... more

Ok, first let me say that the location can't be beat. It is a close walk to the train station and the hotel is directly on the river. And it was very inexpensive. And it seemed to be safe. This place has an excellent location near the old part of Zurich, but the room here was the blandest on my trip to Switzerland. For the money, I guess this was expected. more

Wow... this hotel was so much cheaper than all the rest in Zurich - even the hostels. I wasn't sure what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised. I stayed at the Hotel Korne Limmatquai because it was the best hotel for the cheapest price. I stayed about 2 weeks, one week each time. I am a geezer.
