We stayed in the "double deluxe room with shower", previously called the "business double" I think. It means you get a reasonable sized, characterless modern room in the annex. There are only 8 parking spaces at the hotel which means you are more than likely going to end up at the local car park, although the nearest one is closed... more

We are frequent travelers to Friesland and thought a stay in a historic building would be a pleasant experience. In 2003 I stayed for three months in 't Stadhouderlijk Hof for business. I think this is the nicest hotel in Leeuwarden (there isn’t much to choose from) and is located at the heart of the city. This hotel is an old building in the old part of the city. It has more character than the other modern hotels on offer in Leeuwarden. Difficult to find parking but the hotel was great in terms of breakfast and a big room. more
