Cannot beat the location. All top shops, restaurants etc. within walking range. Did not use my rental car once during our entire stay. Rooms are nice, staff is great, bath rooms mediocre (no separate shower but an uncomfortable bath tub with a malfunctioning shower curtain). This hotel is located on my favorite square in the old town in Maastricht. On a nice summer night, a coffee on the square is unbeatable. The Derlon is a nice, modern hotel in a historic building. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist style, but are very comfortable. The breakfast was nice, but not lavish. more
