Spent two nights here and it was perfectly acceptable and serviceable. No restaurant for meals, and there never is, but that was made very clear on arrival. alkmaar has one of the nicest old towns in europe old buildings old canals nice cafes good shops and close to the beaches the hotel is very nice more motel than hotel for breakfast go in town will come back more
