At the time of booking, 'Hotel' Hortus seemed the best option to go for because it was reasonably priced. We did not know what we were letting ourselves in for! I would advise anyone coming to Amsterdam to pay more for a proper hotel with warm water, a shower that drains and a bed that doesn’t bow in the middle.... more
