Seven Bridges Hotel is a 300 year old charming canal house at the beautiful confluence of two canals in the historic heart of Amsterdam. Character and atmosphere are created by individually decorated stylish rooms: precious antiques from Baroque, Louis XVI, Empire, Biedermeier to Art Deco, from Sotheby's and Christie's; oriental carpets on wooden floors; handcrafted marquetry furniture - mirrors, tables, beds by a Dutch artisan. Welcome to charm, sophistication and a beautiful ambience inside and outside. The hotel now has AIR CONDITIONING - in all but the "cool" rooms 3 and A. more » « less

When some think of Amsterdam their first thought might be their favorite restaurant, coffee bar, museum or district. When I think of Amsterdam my first thought is the Seven Bridges Hotel. Without question this special place made my trip. It is located in a quite street just outside of the heart and soul of the city. Everything is within walking... more

We stayed at the 7 Bridges Hotel the first part of September 2008 and had an absolutely wonderful stay! Real Simple magazine recommended the hotel in their Travel Guide and I am so thankful I read the article and decided to stay here. This was our first trip to Amsterdam and we were able to take the train and a... more

Unusual private hotel. Off the main drag but a short walk to most places. As mentioned by others the stairs are steep and the breakfasts could see you through the day. more

We were in Amsterdam at the middle of September and choose Seven Bridges Hotel based on its rating at TripAdvisor. It is really great hotel!!! First of all we were met very polite. We booked room no. 10 for 9 days; it is beautiful, cosy room at the last floor of the hotel, so there are many windows at the... more

Room 6 at the Seven Bridges is not a hotel room. It is the room you would have created for your own personal use if you had the time, taste and attention to details of the 7 Bridges' owners. Of course, you would also need to have a lovely building facing a beautiful canal in the center of Amsterdam... We... more

For our first visit to A'dam in many years, we were delighted with this conveniently located, quiet, very small but elegant hotel. Room #4 on the first level - overlooking the peaceful rear garden - is quite spacious with beautiful furnishings. The bed was quite comfortable; the bathroom also comfortable, with a very good shower. Breakfasts were sumptuous (if unvarying).... more

Our stay in Seven Bridges Hotel was absolutely perfect! The hotel is very nice, situated on lovely canals probably in the most beautiful part of Amsterdam which is calme but at the same time very close to the centre of Amsterdam. Rooms are very pretty equipped (we had the room n°10 with nice view to the garden). All the staff... more

I strongly do not recommend to stay in a place, where the manager don't believe in the quality of his own hotel. I try to book a room in the Seven Bridges Hotel and after some emails conversations, I ask Gunter to inform me about the details I was supposed to forward him to make the reservation, but he refused... more
