Having read some of the reviews about this hotel I was slightly worried about staying in this hotel. All my worries vanished though as I entered the hotel. The hotel really is a good quality 3* hotel, located in the western part of Amsterdam and has loads of rooms (more than 200 I believe). It’s easily reachable by pretty much... more

on arriving in amsterdam, the hotel was incredibly hard to find as not even the "i am amsterdam" PR's at the front of the train station knew where it was! after a tram ride and a 45minute walk we eventually arrived! we expected a hotel but were sorely disappointed to be put in the "Annex", a mobile home! on entering... more

In all of my extensive travelling through all of Europe, this has to be the second worst Hotel i have stayed at. Only the great breakfast saved it from the wooden spoon award. The pictures you see on the web page are not necessarily what you get. Having booked months in advance (and prepaid) for a double room, I was... more

Our travel agent booked this hotel....thank goodness it was only for one night! We requested a double room, we got two twin beds, in the annexe section of this hotel the "economic part" as they called it, but the price we paid was not economical for what we got. The main hotel had breakfast the next morning and looked much... more

we've stayed here 2 nights. To be honest, there are a lot of negative reviews about this hotel ... but it's not that bad at all. When you book, please ask for a renovated room in the main building. These rooms look new and have the comfort you need. I've stayed a few times in Amsterdam, and this hotel was... more

On a recent family holiday we had the luck to stay at this hotel. We booked the hotel over the internet - it was cheap so i did not expect much. We had our car and so needed a hotel with secure parking, which this hotel has for a very reasonable price. When i arrived i was very impressed by... more

In Amsterdam for Business during a huge Broadcasting Fair so nothing else available. First of all I have to say the location is totally uncofortable especially if you have to travel all the way to central Amsterdam it'll take you about 15 min walking to the tram station plus another 30 minutes on the tram to the Center. The area... more

I cannot comment on the rooms in the main building as I was put into the annexe by Expedia.co.uk and what a horrendous place it was. It is nothing more than a wooden pre-fab building rather like the portacabins you see at building sites. The rooms are disgusting in every sense. They stink of smoke despite no smoking laws in... more

Okay - first bit of advice is make sure you are booked into the hotel proper and not the annex. The latter seems to have been built in response to the demand for accomodation for stag/hen parties and the annex is designed to house, to put it bluntly, groups of drunken Brits. Be especially careful if you are part of... more

Our room (141) was saturated with a strong smell of mold coming from the old bathroom. The room was not very clean either, everything felt a bit sticky. I am not very picky when it comes to cleanines, I often stay in cheap hostels, but this smell was nothing I have seen before, just unbearable. The window could not be... more
