Horrible run down dump,over priced,didn't get a double bed that we booked,our friends were placed on the ground floor while we had to go up 3 flights of stairs,staff didn't even offer to help us up these stairs,didn't get toilet that we booked for our room,had to use communal toilet which had grafitti over it,don't blame the artists!,carpets were disgusting,walls... more

This hotel was the cheapest I could find in Amsterdam. Was nice enough room - clean and tidy. Good transport links, near to heineken museum and bars such as Hard Rock Cafe. Just be warned the stairs to the rooms ar every steep, and no lifts. Would stay again for a cheap few days more

Do NOT stay at this place...it is a death trap..the rooms are tiny, room is very dirty, bin was not changed and blood stain in my bed linen. staff were very very insulting and unhelpful...when asked to change bed linen and dirty towel, we were told if we do not like it find another holet which we did....breakfast consisted of... more

A perfectly acceptable "cheapie". What do you expect in Amsterdam at that price? It's one saving grace was that it was non-smoking, and pretty well enforced. The staff was very helplful, breakfast was simple but actually decent (fresh/warm hard boiled eggs, fresh bread/toast, decent coffee, tea, decent orange juice) and despite how prison-ration-like that sounds, ironically I found it better... more

Double room in the basement was tiny - literally about 30cm space between the bed and the walls. Dark, dingy and not very clean. Location was not too bad, but expect about 25 minute walk into the centre of Amsterdam (Dam Sqaure, Red Light District etc.) Good tram-links though. Basic, cheap and value for money, I suppose! more
