“Nice hotel but not a 4* hotel”

We only stayed for one night. But for a 4* hotel, you may expect more : - the room was clean, but a little bit small with the extra bed for our 6 year old daughter. - In the bathroom there was a plastic showercurtain, which didn't protect the floor to get wet - The choice of bread, drinks, etc... more

After not finding an available room in Beemster (near Volendam), we drove north to Hoorn to find an available room. The Petit Nord was listed in the Michelin Red book, so I decided to try it. Located at one corner of the old town area, it's close to many stores and naturally the historic buildings. There is a parking lot... more

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. B&B only, but some fantastic restaurants in Hoorn so not a problem. Room was small but perfectly adequate. Bed very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Service in both breakfast room and reception excellent. Would stay there again. more
