Took the parents for the fathers day Weekend. Having read the previous reviews I had quite low expectations. Infact was pleasantly surprised the lady at reception was friendly and gave some very good advice on the town when we arrived. The room was fine, comfortable bed, new bathroom; I think it had been renovated quite recently. The flooring could do... more
Having read previous reviews for this hotel we were a little apprehensive that we had booked this. My husband emailed and requested a room in the main hotel which we were told we would receive. Upon arrival we were given a lot of information and advise about restaurants and bars. We were then sent to our room which was upstairs... more
Reception unfriendly and unhelpful. Questionned my need for more toilet paper and more soap!! 2 minute bars of soap for 4 people sharing a room for 4 nights!!!! The room was unclean and very, very noisy from other guests and busy main road. Disappointing stay. more
The hotel was in a very good location and only a 15 minute walk to the the station and a 5 minute walk to the market square. The desk clerk recommended a very very nice restaurant ( petite Maison). The location was really good. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel and saved on Euros. About a 10 minute walk. It is also conveniently located to restaurants and the main shopping street and all the main attractions. The hotel itself I was not very impressed by. The lobby had a terrible smell to it.... more

The room certainly wasn't as nice as the ones on the hotel's website which I assume are in the main... more

BUT DID have rooms out on the 'Terrace'. We walked out of the hotel into a CONVERTED GARAGE!! (there was a smell as well).... more
The hotel was handily placed for shops and restaurants. Our room (No.1) was fairly basic but comfortable albeit a bit small(couldn't fully open the wardrobe doors and it had a decent bathroom. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel had a nice breakfast room and the breakfast was excellent. Our only real complaint was there were no... more
We visited the hotel in November for the weekend. The hotel was busy however the staff were very friendly and gave helpful information on places to eat and drink in the town. Our room looked recently refurbished and was very pleasant and clean. The reception areas were beautifully decorative and very welcoming. Brugge itself was a fantastic place to visit... more
