we booked our holiday with travel republic .co.uk and were very impressed with vila bicuda as a holiday destination and would thoroughly reccomend it to anyone who wants a holiday with all mod cons, spotlessly clean accomodation and everything you need in the one place. You do however need to hire a car if you wnt to see the local... more

Just returned from a week at Vila Bicuda which was booked direct. Stayed in a studio apartment, set off the main square in the central complex, but having a balcony opening onto gardens. Other studios were nearby, or on the 1st floor above the complex, and I would recommend the ground floor studios. This was very convenient for the coffee shop... more

Just returned from 1 week at Vila Bicuda, travelling with my boyfriend and 3 year old daughter and we had an absolutely lovely time. It is definately the kind of place that you would love if it suits you and your holiday plans. We wanted quite an independent holiday staying in a villa with all home comforts, from which we... more

Vila Bicuda is a sort of hotel where you can cook your own breakfast and have the luxury of having a little villa at your disposal. We stayed in a one bedroom villa, sleep four. Downstairs there is plenty of space for the kids to play, an independent kitchen and direct access to the garden and pool. The pool is... more

Great base for exploring the region. Lovely villa complex which perfectly combines the freedom of having your own villa with the convenience and comforts of a hotel. Ours was a spacious 2 bed villa, 2 ensuite bedrooms and a downstairs loo, large living area and fully equipped kitchen. (although would have been nice to have a welcome pack of at... more

Vila Bicuda soon became known to us as Wisteria Lane, because it's so perfectly manicured and immaculate! Our studio apartment was comfortable, spacious, clean (rather than spotless, but it was cleaned every day) and very well equipped. The kitchen had a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all the utensils we needed. However, nothing else is provided - you have to buy everything,... more

We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon. The hotel itself is very nice but it's so incredibly far out of the way that it became a chore to go anywhere. The bus is unreliable as well. Better to stay in Cascais itself as there are some great hotels in the center of town. Vila Bicuda is as far... more

villa bicuda is not a resort as such, most of the park is owned by locals or rented to staff from foreign companies we stayed in a studio, which was nicely outfited and had plenty of room it had a large kitchen, bathroom with jacuzzi and a large living/bedroom, with wooden floors. Everything is very clean and well maintained, fresh... more

Really just backing-up the comments made about the vila bicuda. Stayed there for 5 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was very spacious and luxurious. The facilities are excellent, 2 big pools (excellent for young kids.. though I haven't any!), good restaurant, nice bar, bakery and more. The complex is made up of holiday rentals managed by the... more

We stayed a the Vila Bicuda in August 2004. There was a mistake with our booking, which we had arranged through a last minute travel site, which was by no way shape or form their fault, but theywere kind and helpful, extremely proffessional, and still managed to accommodate us despite the fact that it was the height of their season.... more
