Me and my husband booked a 2 week stay at this hotel for our 2nd honeymoon. When we arrived at the hotel we were greated by amazing reception staff and a glass of champagne, as we had booked a superior room we were informed we had been upgraded to the junior suite and to Mythios class, for no extra charge.... more

We booked the Elounda Village on the strength of good reviews on this site and agree with most of what has been recorded. Arrived by car at 4.00 a.m. rather weary, to find reception staff on hand to whisk our cases away, park the car and urge us to settle in, then fill out the formalities later when we felt... more

Almost everything about this 5-star hotel was 5-star. We upgraded to a Junior suite and on reflection we were glad that we did. It looked, from the outside, that there was a lot more room and rooms as well as several perks; occasional fruit (not every 2 days), newspaper, water, DVD etc. There seemed to be a shortage of sheets... more

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Elonda village hotel. What a wonderful suprise . This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were unfailingly helpful, friendly and without exception delightful. Our room was stunning with an amazing private pool at the end of the balcony, the hotel was very clean , room service wasgreat the... more

expensive but I think worth it. Great location...great facilties and the staff was espcially helpful doing everything from rearranging ferry tickets with a local travel agent to recommending good local restaurants. We were in an older part of the hotel, but the room was still spacious and well appointed. Great breakfeast buffet too. more

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and our first trip to Crete. We just have a couple of observations for those coming here, or thinking of doing so. Weather - we stayed during the first week of October and it is evident that the weather changes quickly here at this time of year. A fierce and uncomfortable... more

Just spent 10 days at the Elounda Village. What a great experience. Wonderful hotel in a truely fantastic setting. We had a garden view bungalow. We were expecting an average room but were pleasantly suprised to find an extremely large room and terrace. The bathroom and shower was also spacious and there was a walk in wardrobe area. The bungaows... more

Have just returned from a weeks holiday at Elounda Village. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were courteous and attentive, particularly the bar staff and reception. The quality of the rooms and public areas definitely warranted 5* but we thought the food in the buffet restaurant was not as good as we would have liked. The selection each evening... more

We have recently returned from a 1 week relaxing break at the Elounda village and the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were allocated 1 of the brand new Superior sea view rooms - sea photos which was simply beautiful. Room cleaned twice daily, fresh towels, fruit, water and flowers. Worth paying for a superior sea view room... more

The Elounda Village Hotel is very nice. It's set in pretty grounds that are very well maintained. The hotel has a nice (if small) man-made private beach, with plenty of sun loungers. Between 4pm and 6pm the Sun starts to go down, and the place was stunning. In fact, the hotel has plenty of nice places to swim and sunbathe... more
