i booked this hotel as part of a well-priced self-customized package that i ordered from the website europeandestinations.com, so i'm not sure how much it cost on it's own. it seemed like it would have cost more than my package would have allowed it to, so perhaps i got a really good deal somehow. anyway, it was a great hotel.... more

I've just returned from a trip to Stockholm for 11 days. I choose to stay at this hotel cause it was somehow well located. I was traveling by myself. I found this hotel truly convenient for me. First Staff were really nice towards my needs, since I had a problem with the lock of my room and they immediately upgraded... more

4 star might be a tad overrated. But still very nice. Parts were worn. Hallways bore clear marks of many years wear and tear. Carpets worn, wooden frames very scrathed and beaten. Room was good. Comfortable bed. But again; it needed some renovation! Bathroom tiles had cracked glazing, the tub's panel was loose etc. But the overall cleanliness was very... more

Stayed here recently on a business trip. Was very surprised at the size of the room, especially in Stockholm. The price was very competitive, and a decent breakfast offering. The only thing I found wrong with the hotel, was its proximity to the TunnelBahn. Its about a 10 minute walk to the nearest station, St:Eriksplan. This walk is ok in... more

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. I booked through Expedia and was given a superior room the first time we stayed there. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great. Felt safe around the surrounding area even late at night. The room was lovely on both occasions, even had underfloor heating which was set at just the right temperature. A... more

easy hotel to get to by bus from airport but ask for bus stop Nortull. Hotel has different rate structures for different rooms. Luxury room faces street and is noisy. Hotel is very clean and breakfast room and buffett is better than most. Large selection of fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, cereal etc..They cater to higher end tours. Nortull bus goes to Central station... more

The organizer of a scientific laboratory reunion arranged a reservation at the Elite Palace Hotel on Sankt Eriks Gatan for me. The reunion had to be cancelled, but my husband and I had unrefundable plane tickets and we made the trip anyway. This hotel had been chosen because it was close to Karolinska Institutet. It was within a few blocks... more

I stayed at the hotel while in Stockholm for a conference. I've stayed at other Elite hotels and this hotel was not quite up to the standard that I've come to expect. The floor (9th) that I was staying on felt old. The hotel room was ok, clean with an ok bed and a coffee/tea maker. The only problem was... more

I stayed at the Elite Palace on a sightseeing visit to Stockholm June 1-6. The hotel was a very good base overall, with a few specific factors that may make a difference to you, depending on your preferences. Location is fine if you're using the subway or other public transportation...it's only about 3-4 stops from the central train station. The... more

Getting the hotel from Arlanda Airport is easy enough - we took the Airport Shuttle Bus which was supposed to stop outside the hotel but it didn't. After asking the driver, he said that he would call us when we arrived at the stop nearest the hotel but he made all the announcements in Swedish so we missed it and... more
