We stayed in the modern part of the hotel and our bedroom was amazing really big with a large bathroom - we had fantastic views overlooking the golf course - we went out for dinner to the Italian at the Golf Club the food was great. I have just stayed at this hotel on business and found the refurbished accomodation to be excellent value. The hotel is split between two locations which are linked by a delighful bridge to the main house on an island. The main house on the island is very elegant and the food on the a la carte menu was very good.... more

Staff really friendly, helpful etc etc. Beautiful surroundings. Room the size of a football pitch. Swimming pool had a great view over the lake but the pool and changing facilities were a little shabby and in need of sprucing up. Nonetheless, I'd definately go back. more

This place is a wedding factory. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Absolutely no complaints about the staff and food. Staff were very friendly and efficient and the food excellent. I had a room in the old part and have to say it was dreadful. I had a four poster bed which was past its sell by date and squeaked at every turn.... more
