I have stayed at the Alexander several times and the standards in all respects are excellent. Julie always makes you very welcome, the rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy and Alex's food is excellent. This family run Hotel is a gem, quality accommodation, very clean, spotless. Food is 5 Star, don't miss the Evening meal, best in Yorkshire. Excellent full English breakfast sees you through the day.
