I just got back from a week's stay in the Hotel Tamerici as part of a tour group from Ireland. The property itself is old, cluttered with furniture and you literally couldn't swing a mouse never mind a cat in the first room they put me in!! We booked a family room, as good value, with some concern given the comments about staff rudeness and the food. Family rooms spacious, decor is a little tired but beds very comfortable and entusiastic maid kept it clean.
