This is a fairly new hotel developed from some agricultural buildings and stables originally built in 1748 hence the name. We stayed one night in this Logis de France on our way back from a fantastic skying holiday. The buildings are absolutely fantastic, and one would forgive many small issues just because of what it looks like - however, I think that the impression made by the deco and buildings would have faded if we stayed longer than 2 nights.... more

Hotel is a three star Logis de France but a bit different to most. Its a smart conversion of a rather grand stable block in the grounds of a chateau (still there about a 100 yds away) buried in the countryside.
