We first discovered this hotel by chance, returning from a walk and looking for refreshments .. that brief visit was so impressive, we returned to stay and were not disappointed. As the Michelin star indicates, the food and wine are wonderful (the chef Markus Neff has now been named "Chef of the Year") The rooms are beautifully appointed, and come... more

Just returned from a fantastic honeymoon in the Hotel Fletschhorn in Saas-fee. Nothing was too much trouble for Maren, Charlie or Markus and all the staff were so helpful. We found the hotel on the Trip Advisor Website and thought it to be a great help and everything positive was true. The food, location, wine etc were un-faultable and a... more

The Fletschhorn is renowned for its food and appears in countless foodie guides, Gault Millau to name but one. These all describe the eating experience far more eloquently than I ever could. Suffice to say that from a non professionals perspective, its every bit as good as they claim it is. However, equally of note, is the incredible and genuine... more

We just returned from a week at the Fletschhorn and we can fully support the many positive things other members had to say about this gem of a hotel. The whole Fletschhorn team gave us a warm welcome and made us feel like being with friends. Charlie, Maren, Marcus are very thoughtful hosts and see to every wish of their... more

I have a personal benchmark of hotels (a perfect hotel in Venice that will remain nameless) from which I compare all new hotels that we stay in. The Fletschhorn falls way short of that benchmark. The rooms (often described as modern and minamilist) are modern in the 1980's sense of the word. Ok, this is a ski resort and the... more

We’ve been going to the Fletschhorn hotel on an almost annual basis for the past eight years and during that time it’s always been a consistently first-rate experience. Unlike a lot of people who visit I don’t ski but like walking and the hotel is in an ideal location for taking this form of exercise. However, if you’re looking to... more

We went to this hotel with some trepidation - famous institution but now under new owners, poor web -site (now revamped) etc. However our time here was simply faultless ! Firstly there is the setting, situated in woods a short distance away from the the Ski resort of Saas Fee, surrounding by majestic mountains. Then there is was the very... more
