These cabanas are set on a nice peice of property very close to the ruins. The cabanas are cute, but they are not the cleanest I have ever seen (pretty slimy shower). The animals on the grounds are adorable (I especially liked eating breakfast with the deer every morning). Just beware that where there are lots of birds, there are... more

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year's 2006 and loved it. The location is wonderful (quiet, rural), the hosts are helpful and friendly, the grounds are beautiful. The cabanas are surrounded by a functioning rubber plantation - we got to see them collect the sap from cups below the slashed bark, wash it and press it into sheets, and... more

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Palenque. 6km down the road from the ruins, a rural setting in a rubber plantation with flocks of wild parrots and brown jays in the trees, hummingbirds in the gardens, a domesticated deer, rabbits, geese and a parrot wandering around the grounds.
