I stayed at the Mercantile for three nights in July. I had a single room with an ensuite, both were large and clean. The shower was fantastic. I found the staff incredibly friendly and they made a single traveller feel very much at home. And the included breakfast, well it kept me going well into the afternoon. Only down side,... more

We stayed in one of the suites with a private bathroom and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were large and well done. I can't speak for the smaller rooms that share a public bathroom but we've stayed in the suites with private bath on 2 seperate trips and both times were excellent.... more
