A really great hotel just on the edge of the city - very short walk and you are right in the middle of things. Great breakfast and beautiful interiors. Loved the place and definitely will be back on my next trip to Melbourne. more

My husband and I just had a weekend at the Park Hyatt leaving our 1 and 2 year old behind for the first time since they were born!! So having said that, anything was going to be relaxing for me and a great break. We stayed in the Spa King. This place has definite positives: -great location. Very close to... more
I've stayed at most of the 5 star hotels in Melbourne and this wins hands down. If you can stretch to the Terrace Suite in the Cathedral wing it's well worth it. It's quiet, peaceful and the view of the old church is gorgeous. Service was fantastic and we never had to ask for anything - bags collected quickly and... more
We made the mistake of spending our wedding night at the Park Hyatt Melbourne. My parents had secretly upgraded our original booking and specifically told the staff that this upgrade was to be a surprise for us on the night. Before our stay, I received an email from the Park Hyatt with the details of our upgrade and the extra... more
We pulled up in my husband's battered old ute (his work vehicle) and we told that deliveries were around the back. OK, we weren't in your 'typical' vehicle, but still. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely, if a little tired. The bed was the best bit. I loved the bed so much I asked where they were... more
I stayed at the Park Deluxe Spa room using the Celebration Package. Pros? - There is a TV in the bathroom. - VERY comfortable. - Fantastic view. - Room service food comes with its own table, clean cutlery and napkins, and more. Very enjoyable. - All the staff there were really friendly. Cons? - The TV in the bathroom malfunctioned... more
The room is very beautifully decorated. Although still in the heart of Melbourne, you might need to jump on the tram for a short ride to the busy shopping area. Due to its location, the hotel is quiet with not many activities going on, could be quite boring for some people. It is right next to one of the most... more
I can't praise this wonderful hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel very special by all the friendly and efficient staff. In fact, if I think about it, the excellent service started at the time of booking, when we had some problems which were resolved quicky over the phone. Our room... more
definatelly not a 5 star hotel... Quite old and boring... not worth the moneys paid... more
We spent two nights at the Park Hyatt Melbourne and there was virtually nothing to whinge about! The room was very very comfortable, we had a little balcony which was great because we had fresh air in our room, the bathroom was really gorgeous, spa was great (bring some bubble bath though), really great shower! The shower was very spacious,... more
