If you are looking for a pleasant quiet place to stay in perth, I would recommend the Peninsula. Stayed at the Peninsula for 10 days in August. I paid extra ($20) for a ‘full riverside view’ and was expecting the apartment to be fronting the river side. The Peninsula is a simple basic apartment-style hotel—no frills whatsoever. The rooms are large with a nice-sized kitchen, living room, and balcony.
