Situation of hotel is perfect with room overlooking beach but general standard of hotel is not up to 5 stars as it is showing many signs of its age. A huge bedroom with 2 bathrooms, and a large living room with a full, well-equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer made staying at the Angsana a home away from home. The Angsana is a very restful, unique boutique style hotel. From check in where you are offered cold cloths and Mango Ice Tea, to the two level room with 2 baths, hardwood floor and applicances that are nicer than any I own, this is much more than expected.
