We stayed in the Sebel Reef Hotel for our honeymoon in July this year. We booked it through trailfinders which seemed to have the best deal including free transfers and breakfast every day. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the hotel. It is marketed as a luxury 4 star boutique hotel and while it was very nice... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sebel for our honeymoon. There was a slight hiccup when we checked in and the room they gave us hadn't been cleaned properly. The desk guy couldn't have been more apologetic. FIrstly he asked us to wait in the bar with a free drink while he sorted it out, then upgraded us to... more

Sebel Reef House is a great boutique hotel. The service is amazing - everyone was always helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. There are lots of little things that the hotel does to make you feel at home - free DVD collection to borrow from, complimentary punch in the evenings, etc. The grounds of the... more

We ended our two week Australian vacation with 4 nights at the Reef House. It was a great way to end our trip up and down the East coast as we just relaxed by the pool and beach. This is probably the best hotel for those traveling without kids, who want a more secluded feel. The other hotels are nice,... more

We arrived at the Sebel reef and were immediately met at the front as soon as we got out of the car and our cases transported to reception. Check in was quick and easy. We were taken to our room and left to settle in. Unfortunately the tv didnt work but a quick call to reception and it was replaced... more

Myself and my friend booked 4 nights at the Sebel Reef in May 2008, we was given complimentary transfers and they were at the airport waiting for us when we arrived.....off to a brilliant start. We arrived at our hotel early and the room was ready and waiting for us, as i am a UK travel agent we were upgraded... more

The hotel staff was very friendly & nice from the start. We booked the "Reef Style Restaurant" package with a verandah room for 2 nights. Our flight from Sydney was delayed 4 hours so we called to cancel our spa appointments for that afternoon. The hotel changed the appointments for the next day (to the only time we could do... more

We stayed at Sebel Reef House for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon and we never regretted our choice for a minute, the only regret would be that we only stayed 3 nights! The staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome and were a great help with any queries we might have. We stayed in a Verandah... more

Charming, has many amenities (free DVDs and lending library, internet access, two beautiful pools), and a friendly staff. I would look at a few rooms. The Verandah room I was shown looked very tired and not very nice. I had an oceanfront suite which was very nice. The rooms are nothing special and not particularly well decorated. I suspect this... more

I loved the Sebel Reef Hotel! We have traveled extensively around the world and the Sebel Reef is one of my all-time favorites! We had a second-floor corner Verandah Spa Room with a view of the pool. Our room and patio were very private and spacious and our patio had a private two-person tub on it. Décor was stylish and... more
