On my express checkout I noticed they charged my credit card for 2 additional nights. I telephoned the front desk immediately and was assured it would be corrected. When I checked out in person the next morning I inquired, it had not been taken care of and again was assured it would be corrected immediately. The day after I checked... more

We recently spent 4 days in Washington and thought the hotel offered few surprises. It caters principally for the US business traveler so its bar and restaurant prices and menu reflect as do the amenities offerred. Like several US hotels there is free wi-fi available in the lobby. That being said it is only half a mile or so from... more

I stayed here 2 nights in late-June in connection with a conference I attended for business. Having read less than stellar reviews of the hotel at which where the conference was located, I chose this Westin instead. It was $19/night cheaper with my corporate rate and a better choice, indeed. Here's the summary: * CHECK-IN: Seamless check-in at approximately 4:30... more

This Westin is tucked away near M and 14th - which initially I thought would be a little too far away from the main DC attractions, but in truth was pretty close to up and coming hip Logan Circle, and not too far from the Whole Foods on P Street (a good alternative to pricey room service). I could walk... more

Positive · Very helpful and friendly staff (Filipino front desk lady and male concierge) - no problem with an early check in at 12noon · Nice clean one bedroom with a very comfortable bed with good bathroom amenities · Lobby has free water infused with fruits – nice touch and appreciated after a long day tracking though DC · Excellent... more

I expected a superior stay from what I was told about the Westin chain and the prices they charge. I would say the hotel was mediocre at best. The room was not all as luxurious as they make it out to be and they need to retrain their housekeeping staff not to mention the concierge who really should rethink her... more

Needed to stay in DC this week for a doctor's convention. Am primary care not a big fat specialist so money IS somewhat of an object. So is staying near the convention center. Very friendly check in Christina is a sweetheart. Beware the servibar in ALL hotels. Some Indian dude was in my hair within fifteen minutes of my check... more

As a frequent business traveller, for a change I was in town with my family for a weekend of site seeing. The hotel is conveniently located downtown within walking distance to the Metro and the White House. The pros: typical Westin room - well appointed, flat screen TV, clean, spacious with the most comforable Heavenly bed. The cons: As a... more

This is the second stay for me in 3 months. The hotel is surprisingly loud for a Westin, perhaps because of the atrium design that funnels the noise upwards to the rooms. The check in staff is pleasant enough though I had a problem when checking out....there was only one person and the guest in front of me presented him... more

After having a few pleasant stays in the past, I booked rooms for myself and some colleagues during a conference. I was a bit surprised when despite booking for 5 people, I was initially given a corner room that was smaller than those I'd been given in the past. A quick call to Service Express had me moved to a... more
