The hotel itself is clean for the most part, but our room had peeling wallpaper next to marble flooring. The hotel staff was beyond rude when speaking to myself and my guests. (1) Paying hundreds of dollars a night, we arrived to learn that the garage cannot house SUVs, though it was not mentioned on the website or upon booking.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for only a weekend (sadly) but this was the best hotel I've ever encountered for the price. I've stayed in other hotels for much more and this one took me by surprise with the living room area, kitchen area, luxurious bathroom, huge bed, etc. The customer service was excellent also. If I am ever... more

I booked this hotel on hotwire for an extremely cheap rate and expected to be treated like I had paid a really low rate, as is usual from high end hotels when someone has used a discount site. I couldn't have been more wrong. The staff was very nice. They upgraded me to a suite without me even asking. The... more

The customer service at this hotel was the some of the best I have experienced anywhere. The entire staff could not have been more polite or helpful, we were always treated like a special guest. The room was clean and well appointed. Higher end bed linens, mini bar etc..Hotel location was in a good centralized location with an abundance of... more

The service provided by the front desk team is great. We had a seamless check in which was welcome after an early start. As we had arrived early our room was not ready but we were immediately invited to leave our luggage so we could go out and start exploring. Washington is quite a sprawling city so you need comfortable... more

Check in was very smooth and our stay was very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was very good although pricey. We were there during restaurant week so it was affordable. The parking was pricey but the service was worth it. The room was a nice size and the bedding was nice. It was quite a walk to the white... more

We went to DC for a long weekend over the President's Day holiday. St Gregory is a fantastic hotel. The staff was super nice, the rooms were clean and spacious and the location was pretty convenient. First impressions: Marilyn in the lobby is silly, I don't get it. The lobby is very nice, but very small. There is a small... more

I stayed at this property for 6 nights alone (female) for business. It was quite nice, clean and close to public transportation. If you need go to Washinton DC alone this is a nice place. Not alot to do inside the facilty. Only a small bar no other facilties or lobby to speak of but nice. The staff is BEYOND... more

Since Congress was out of session, I got a fine rate on a suite in the St. Gregory. Check-in was easy, and the suite was fine. One light was out, and when I asked them to fix it, they not only did, but also checked every other light in the suite. That's thinking! The room was quiet, despite traffic outside,... more

My family stayed at the St. Gregory over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The hotel was very nice. The staff was very helpful and kind. We had a few issues with the people next door who had a small baby who cried all night. But that had more to do with thin walls, than the hotel or staff. The... more
