We've just returned from DC where we experienced the Cherry Blossom Festival. We stayed 5 nights in a Deluxe Double Bed room on the 7th floor. The room was enormous in comparison to a standard Holiday Inn type room. The furniture and sheets and towels were of above average quality. We recently stayed in a deluxe room for $99 and were very happy. The room was beautiful, service was excellent and the location was great. It's close to the Foggy Bottom Metro stop and close to the free shuttle to Kennedy Center. The only negative is that the bathroom could use an update. more

I would agree with most of the good reviews posted here. I found the front desk staff really excellent and did their best to try and held you. My only complaint was the sneaky extras at breakfast.
