We just returned from a great trip to DC with our son, 5 ½. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Convention Center and were extremely pleased with our choice. The service from check-in to check-out was top notch. We had trouble with our room cards demagnetizing numerous times, but the front desk personnel were so friendly and accommodating, it was... more

My boyfriend and I loved this hotel! Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted promptly by a friendly, smiling front desk attendant. He went out of his way to answer any and all questions we had and offered helpful information to us regarding the hotel and the city. We took the elevator up to the seventh floor and were extremely pleased... more

I just checked out this morning after spending 4 nights here. I cannot imagine any other place being as conveniently located as this. Our party of 3 was given room 601 which faces New York Avenue - due to the shape of the building, we were on a corner and our room was not the typical "square", and had lots... more

The breakfast is very good and if you don't mind crowds, the drinks before dinner were also a plus. But we had so many problems, we'd never go back. We heard there were lots of families and kids and, of course, they are often noisy. But we didn't think there would be drunk teenagers/college students wrestling in the elevators or... more

I stayed at this hotel overnight with a couple of guys for a bachelor party. The location of the hotel was key--right near restaurants, bars, the Verizon Center, etc.. We had drinks at the manager's happy hour before going to the game and were happy that this was included. There were no problems with the rooms and the breakfast the... more

I was traveling with my daughter who was looking at colleges while I attended to some business meetings in Southeast and Northwest. This hotel is not a far taxi ride (or Metro ride) from Union Station. It was in the center of the various places we needed to visit in all four quadrants of Washington. It is a short walk... more

My husband and I were away for the weekend without the kids. This was a great choice....from the open bar during the managers reception, free buffet breakfast. Well it's free but the long line is the "price". The room was very comfortable, not a huge suite but VERY nice and even during a HUGE high school tournament, we did not... more

We stayed at Embassy Suites for the weekend on Feb 15th-17th, for a convention. The hotel has valet parking but were very rude. Parking was $29 dollars a day for rude attendants. When the attendant brought our car for us he took the tip, but did not load our luggage. The staff at check in were very nice & helpful.... more

This is a lovely hotel. Expensive hotel with a VERY expensive dining option. Not a hotel dining option with kids. A nice facilty with very clean rooms, however traveling alone on business like most of DC is questionable. This is in a business district with few options on the block for people wanting to walk less than 2 blocks alone,... more

Valet parking terrible customer service. Location and service were first class. Took advice from other reviews and requested high floor facing 10th street to avoid construciton noise. GREAT ADVICE. Valet parking service was SLOOOOOW! Took an average of 20 mins to get car brought back up. Way too long for $29 per day fee. Overall, this hotel is up to... more
