Good hotel in DuPont Circle. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. You can also walk to the tourist sites in the Mall and Georgetown when the weather is nice. The saving grace of the hotel is it's rooftop pool and sundeck with views of DuPont Circle, Washington Monument and the Capital building. Super easy walk to the Metro.... more

This hotel was clean, in a great location and had a friendly staff. I was worried after reading complaints about early morning construction noise but there was none during my stay. The room and the hall could have used new carpet but the room was very clean. Each time I went in the lobby, one of the staff asked if... more

Room service and food were terrible. Whoever takes your order can't seem to get any of it right. I ordered room service 3 times during my stay and there was always something missing from the order when it arrived to my room. The burger was burned and the "chocolate pyramid" was a lone brownie with a dollop of whipped cream... more

All in all this hotel is in a great location, only steps away from Dupont Circle, with its restaurants, shopping, and nightlife, and only a short walk or metro ride away from other DC sights, such as the mall, the museums, and the White House. Nonetheless, I don't recomment it. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation and I was awakened... more

The location of this hotel can't be beat, but most everything else was average at best. Most Hilton hotels are clean, in good locations and provide a reasonable value and this hotel was no different. However, we found a number of issues with this particular Hilton during our stay. When we arrived mid afternoon on a weekday, the valet/doorman was... more

hThere is good news and bad news about this hotel. The hotel itself is aging and it looks like management is trying to renovate the property. That's the good news. The bad news is that it seems the entire hotel is renovation. I arrived at the hotel and had requested an early check in when I made my reservation on... more

My wife and I chose this hotel because it was near the UK Embassy, where we had an evening event. Although we have been getting used to the advanced ageing of the facilities at Hiltons around the world, this experience exceeded most of our worst expectations. At 8 AM, we were woken up by very loud hammering noises from a... more

I checked out of this hotel yesterday morning after a business trip. The service was fine and everyone was very nice and accommodating (for the most part). The food was fairly tasty and the room was spotless. The cons? For starters, I had no hot water yesterday morning. I called the front desk to inquire about this and they said... more

The hotel room I had was pretty small, which is fine because I wasn't in the room much, but I was surprised to get this room because I was going to be staying in DC for a long time, and I booked a room for 12 days. I did get to stay on the Executive floor, which I presume is... more

It's a shame that I was awoken at 7:15 a.m. by construction going on across the hall from my room. I was then rudely told by the front desk that I should have just called down and they would have made it stop and that's it's not their fault. They hired the workers and they should have taken some of... more
