I just returned from a stay at the Westin Embassy Row and it was nice. We spent 4 days in D.C. and one night at this hotel. We booked this hotel using Hilton points and stayed at another Hilton property for the other 3 nights (Homewood Suites). I traveled with my husband and two young children (7 and 5). The... more

The Westin at Embassy Row is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel was just recently renovated. It is extremely clean and decorated beautifully. The rrom is equipped with large screen plasm tv and the matress is extremely comfortable. We felt at home. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and loved coming back to the room each night... more

This classic-style hotel put us into a fresh, clean, and comfortable room that afforded us a beautiful view of the Washington Monument from our 8th Floor corner location. The $160/night deal we found on hotels.com made this stay a bargain. Having stayed at both the Westin Grand and the Westin Embassy Row, we prefer Embassy Row for its outstanding location.... more

I booked the Westin through Priceline, so you get what you get. I was a bit nervous having read mediocre reviews and the fact that it was being renovated. But I got a decent deal at $95 a night. I asked for a quiet room with a view on my booking which is usually ignored but it can't hurt to... more

The hotel is in a great location and Dupont Circle was a lot of fun. However the hotel is still working out the kinks in its construction and our room's plumbing was completely out of whack. The cold water tap in the sink and the shower had PIPING HOT STEAMING WATER and the hot water tap had the same. Needless... more

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. It is in an interesting and safe location, our suite was large, sunny, comfortable and newly renovated, the staff was great. I was worried about staying here with my family because of some of the reviews I read, but our experience was fine by and large. We stayed 3 nights. Yes, the... more

From arrival to departure the outstanding courtesy of all the staff members just totally won me over. I can't remember a Mandarin Oriental, Fairmont, Ritz Carlton, etc. stay that was punctuated by so many warm greetings, offers of assistance and sincere efforts to make up for any minor inconveniences. Yes, it's under renovation to become The Fairfax but as far... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Embassy Row for a 1st anniversary weekend getaway at the DC Cherry Blossom festival. Overall, we really loved the hotel - the decor was very classy. Our room was tastefully decorated in a reproduction colonial style, and though very small, was just fine for two people, which is clearly what the room... more

I almost exclusively stay in Starwood Hotels...I've had some remarkable stays at Westins and Ws and I was happy to stay at the Westin Embassy Row on a recent trip to DC. The experience would have been fine if I were staying at a mid-level hotel, but the Westins are supposed to provide higher-level experiences and in comparison to its... more

Had an exec suite on 8th floor. Two room suite with 2 flat panel tvs. Recently renovated, comfortable room but noisy as faces main street. Only 1 of 2 elevators were working but not much delays. The free continental breakfast was ok - but don't try the cold runny scrambled eggs and cold pancakes. Fruit, cereal and pastries were fine.... more
