Avoid this hotel -- the service is horrible and the employees don't seem to care! This is not a four-star property as Hotwire touts but the flip side is I only paid $90 because I booked it through Hotwire. This is a tired and dated, three-star hotel and not worth it any price because the service is so awful First,... more

We stayed at the Hilton Washington for a week. We were at a convention and the organizers assign the hotels so we had no choice. We had a negative feeling about the hotel before we arrived because in addition to paying $200/night for a room, there was a $23/day parking fee (which I beat--keep reading), a $10/day fee for internet... more

I just got home from a 7 night convention in DC and we were housed at this Hilton during the event. The lobby area and main floor were nice. the staff on these floors were always very accommodating. The restaurant was fine. The ballroom where we had our meeting was needing to be remodeled, very '80's looking. Then the room.... more

We stayed at the Hilton Washington and Towers from Saturday June 28th until Monday 30th 2008. Hotwire described it as a 4 star hotel. It would be pushing it to claim 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time..., but the fixtures are dated, the common areas retro (not in a good way) and the grout in our bath was a... more

The Hilton Washington is in a nice location a few blocks north of Dupont Circle, pretty close to the National Zoo, and is a very popular meeting site. However, the hotel is beginning a much need renovation. Rooms are fairly small and are showing a lot of wear and tear. For example, in the rooms, bathroom tiles are old, walls... more

The hotel is a busy, conference based and very large establishment so service is what you would expect. Our room was clean, comfortable and with a good view. This is an older hotel so it doesn't 'sparkle' but it has the general level of facilities we expect of a Hilton. Staff were helpful and polite. Walls are very thin and... more

This hotel is located in a very pretty area of DC. Two great restaurants about 5 minutes away. Potbelly sandwiches and 5 Guys burger joint. Both are very inexpensive and very good. The hotel was a little ritzy for us... they asked me to leave the bar while my husband had a beer because I was holding my baby boy...... more

This place is a DUMP. There was no hot water and we found a USED CONDOM on the floor beneath the bed's dust ruffle. Need I say more??? more

Booked on Priceline for Memorial Day weekend for a great price. Hotel was a brisk 4 or 5 block walk from the Dupont Circle Metro station which allowed us easy access to all parts of the city. Never had a problem while we were there and all of the employees we encountered were helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to... more

Get a grip people. This place is fine! My wife and one year old son decided to visit D.C. for the weekend, and I booked this hotel through hotwire and paid $113 with tax. After reading the reviews I was a bit worried. The location is PERFECT. Just north of Dupont, a mile walk to the zoo and close to... more
