I found it very difficult to choose a riad in marakech as they all sound so wonderful. We settled on Dar Malak and were completely delighted with our choice. If you are looking for high end amenities such as a pool you'd be better served elsewhere but if you are looking for a great room at a great location with... more

perfect location, beautiful interieur, spacious room and a staff that makes you feel truely welcome from the first moment on: my husband, our kids (7&9 years old) and i spent three nights in the occident suite and were utterly happy with our choice. LOCATION: IDEAL! in the north of the medina, at the end of a quiet "derb", just around... more

When I think of Dar Malak Riad, tranquility and style come to mind. This riad has it all. It's quaint, colorful, comfortable and very charming. I can't say enough about the staff members and the owner of the riad. They were all so very cordial and accommodating to me and my friend Cary. Riad owner and French painter, Eric, was... more

Only place i didnt enjoy in Morocco. Unlike the previous Riad, this one had very few beautiful objects. The atmosphere was quite dull as we didnt see any other guests. Our room was very large with a double bed and 2 singles for the kids but i slept in a single as the door had no lock. It is buried... more

Discerning guests bask in the charm and magic of this idyllic 19th century riad. Dar Malak is ideally located at the end of a quiet residential derb in Riad Laarouss, one of the more prized neighbourhoods of the medina, an easy 10 minute stroll to the souks and main square of Jemma el Fna. A riad follows the basic guesthouse...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in March and enjoyed our time in the riad greatly,Eric and his team are very welcoming and offer help with anything you may need. Our room was very comfortable and very quiet at night. The roof terrace was lovely with views across the rooftops to the Atlas mountains and a chance to escape... more

we booked this small Riad from the internet and as it was our first visit to Marrakech we did not exactly know what to expect. We found Eric Ruel the Manager very helpful and friendly ( without being intrusive) and he met when the taxi dropped us off a short way from the guest house - just as well otherwise... more

We stayed in the Orient Suite (http://www.darmalak.com/en/riad-hebergement-maroc-marrakech-dar-malak_visite_suite_orient.php?lang=en) for 3 nights in February. Its nice and clean, but a little cold in the winter. The roof terasse is excellent for breakfast and relaxing after a long day in busy Marrakech. Remember to book transportation from the airport, or at least ask Eric, the manager, to meet you when you arrive, it's... more

Situated in the heart of the Mad Medina, this gorgeous Riad has been transformed into a chic utopia of calm full of Moroccan charm and sophistication. Eric and his small but dedicated team were happily on hand to help with everything we needed - from taxis, restaurants and sights to a trek in the Atlas Mountains. Very much recommended if... more

We stayed at Dar Malak for 3 nights in February and had a very enjoyable time. The rooms are set round an attractive internal courtyard and there is a roof terrace where we enjoyed very good breakfasts- fresh orange juice, bread and jams, pancakes and coffee. We booked the Occident Suite as we had our 2 teenagers with us. The... more
